Friends of North Somerset Community Hospital

Our funds come from fundraising events such as Fashion Shows and Golf days:  Donations from grateful patients:  Local people, businesses and organisations:  In memory of loved ones and legacies.

Recent Events

The Covid pandemic has restricted our fundraising activities but we continue to receive great support from the community. Since the start of the financial year in March we have received donations of £3,612 and Legacies of £182,229.79. This has put the Friends in a very strong financial situation and we hope to provide sufficient support to enable a badly needed extension to the Minor Injuries Unit to be built

Supporters include;

Ben Hazeldine for the proceeds from a Vibe re-union/end of lockdown party which he organised at the Community Centre; Shoplands for providing this year’s Christmas Tree;

Clevedon United Junior Football Club for the proceeds of a raffle in aid of the hospital as their chosen charity of the year;

The Freshwater Angling Club for the proceeds of their Fishing Competition and Clevedon Yeo Rotary for the proceeds of the Open Gardens Scheme.
